The model

Knowledge + Capability + Application

WSA holds that an education is complete only when knowledge, capability and real-world application are developed together, and treats any one of the three on its own as insufficient.

Its role

What this does in the system.

It is the standard every Exploration is written against and the reason WSA rejects both content-only schooling and skills-only alternatives.

Relationships

How it connects to the rest of the model.

Knowledge lives in the Worlds, capability in the twelve future capabilities, application in fieldwork, projects and the Atlas.

In practice

A concrete example.

Knowing what a lever is, being able to reason about one, and having actually moved something heavy that would not otherwise have moved.
