The model
WSA uses a small, consistent vocabulary. Each term below has a precise meaning, a role in the system, and a relationship to the others.
The order
The World School Atelier — a distinct education system
Follow the Interest — the child's genuine fascination is the starting point
An interest becomes a pathway, not an activity
Pathways move through the ten Worlds
Knowledge, capability and real-world application develop together
Progression and mastery are documented over years
Home, travel and worldschooling supply the context
The vocabulary
Follow the Interest is the WSA method in which a child's genuine fascination becomes the starting point for serious, interdisciplinary knowledge rather than the theme of a single activity.
An Interest Pathway is the structured route by which a single interest opens into multiple fields of knowledge and continues to deepen over years rather than weeks.
The ten Worlds are WSA's permanent knowledge architecture: ten interconnected fields through which any interest can be read, each with real disciplines, real progression and connections to the other nine.
The Atelier Path is the personalised route one child takes through the Worlds, shaped by what they have actually done, what they are ready for and what they keep returning to.
An Exploration is WSA's unit of work: an investigation built around something genuinely puzzling, with a prediction to make, a test to run and a result that may overturn the prediction.
Rigour without rigidity means the sequence of knowledge is genuinely demanding and genuinely ordered, while the route through it is set by the child's interests rather than by a timetable.
Depth without boredom is WSA's practice of returning to the same interest at increasing sophistication, so that repetition becomes advancement rather than revision.
The twelve future capabilities are the dispositions WSA develops alongside knowledge: curiosity, critical thinking, creative thinking, problem solving, communication, collaboration, adaptability, emotional intelligence, systems thinking, digital and AI fluency, entrepreneurial thinking and self-direction.
WSA holds that an education is complete only when knowledge, capability and real-world application are developed together, and treats any one of the three on its own as insufficient.
These are not marketing phrases. They describe how the system actually operates, and they are used the same way everywhere — in the member experience, in the content library, and in how progress is recorded.
